So just WHO is this guy, anyway?!

Well, here's something you've probably already figured out for yourself:
1. Most of the world's best traders don't offer "trading education" -- they simply don't have the time, nor the motivation.
2. And most "trading educators" are people who like to teach, but have never actually traded successfully themselves!

However, Tim Birch is in a rather unique role: having spent decades as the primary software developer of a major trading platform,

Back-testing and optimizing are often done together, but they are really different things -- and there are good and bad ways to do both.
This session covers how to properly do “back-testing and optimizing research”, which back-testing statistics are probably the most
important (some of them might surprise you!), how to not simply end up with an over-optimized system, and how to utilize some Monte
Carlo techniques to help analytically differentiate between a “normal drawdown” versus a “failure point” for the strategy going forward.

Session 5: How to Build a Diversified Trading Basket

This session covers the important factors related to setting up a diversified trading basket:
utilizing multiple types of strategies which are looking for different kinds of general market behaviors, trading multiple categories
of the futures and commodities, avoiding over-correlation, and proper risk management.

Session 6: How to Automate your Trading

A diversified basket of fundamentally sound strategies typically run best in an automated environment. There are many advantages:
it helps eliminate emotional reactions that can sabotage performance, it allows you to not be glued to dozens of charts moving
